RUNAR - a unit for Airports |
The Runar unit is especially designed for the measurement of pavement surface
characteristics on airport runways and taxiways. Runar is suitable for airport
administrations, airport owners and operators.
Compulsory government ruling, construction and maintenance standards may call for performing measurements at
completion of projects or at specific time intervals (e.g. quarterly, or annually).
An obvious business opportunity is to provide the measurements for the customers
with NORSEMETER equipment and personnel. Some services are:
Acceptance tests of pavement construction and maintenance contracts for roads and airport runways.
Annual or other periodic pavement skid resistance condition checks of airport runways.
